After playing the last three years for in Chinese Basketball Association for the Jiangsu Dragons. It’s crazy that MarShon hasn’t caught on with an NBA team these last couple of years because he is an offensive magician. Everyone knows that you need to score in today’s NBA and Brooks is especially good at creating his own offense.
Over the last three years with the Dragons, he has been a one-man offensive wrecking crew.
He has averaged 35+ ppg in each of the last three years. This year his stats have been nothing short of spectacular.
36.6 points per game
7.2 rebounds per game
5.7 assists per game
2.0 steals per game
51.0% field goal percentage
40.7% three-point field goal percentage
80.7% free throw percentage
The Grizzlies released Brice Johnson to make room for Brooks on their team. Memphis is tied for the 2nd worst record in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks.
I have a sneaky feeling that Brooks is going to show out for the Grizz to close out the season. Give that man the green light!
