A.J. Reeves has been selected to participate in a Three-Point Contest at this year’s Final Four in San Antonio. Reeves will compete against seven other High School Seniors, including Villanova-bound, Providence native, and former Friar Recruit, Cole Swider.
Here’s a list of the competitors and where they’re headed for school next year.
A.J. Reeves – Providence (Roxbury, MA)
Cole Swider – Villanova (Providence, RI)
Nate Laszewski – Notre Dame (Northfield, MA)
Aaron Wiggins – Maryland (Greensboro, NC)
Cormac Ryan – Stanford (New York, NY)
Myles Dread – Penn State (Burtonsville, MD)
Foster Loyer – Michigan State (Clarkston, MI)
Casey Tuttle – Undecided (Williamsville, IL)
For some reason, the three-point contest will be taped on Tuesday afternoon at Wagner High School in San Antonio but will be shown on TV on Sunday, April 1st at 2:30 PM on CBS. I have no friggin’ idea why they wouldn’t just have it live like every, single other High School all-star game or competition. I have a feeling that the results are going to be out to the public before it comes on TV which will pretty much make the actual televising of it more of an afterthought.
