The annual Ocean State Rivalry between the University of Rhode Island Rams and the Providence College Friars has been scheduled for December 1st for this upcoming men’s basketball season.
This year’s game will be at Providence in the Dunkin’ Donuts Center following URI’s win last season. The Rams win broke a streak of seven straight wins by the Friars and marked the first loss for Ed Cooley against the in-state rival.
Both teams lost a lot with their respective outgoing Senior classes but Providence welcomes back Emmitt Holt from a lost season due to injury and a Top-20 recruiting class while URI will have to recover from losing their coach Dan Hurley to UConn.
Prediction: PC wins in a bloodbath and starts a new winning streak that lasts the rest of my lifetime.
