PC Hockey Junior Erik Foley Signs Contract with the St. Louis Blues

Providence College Hockey Junior Erik Foley has forgone his Senior season and signed a three-year entry level deal beginning in 2018-2019 with the St. Louis Blues of the NHL.  Foley is headed to the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage (Colorado Avalanche affiliate) on an amateur tryout contract for the remainder of this season.

Foley’s rights were traded to the St. Louis Blues by the Winnipeg Jets.  The Jets origianlly drafted Foley in the 2015 Draft with the 78th overall selection.

This season, Foley recorded career-highs in goals (16), assists (19), and points (35).  He was selected as a Hockey East First Team All-Star this season.
