Gressel beats out Minnesota’s Abu Danladi and Philadelphia’s Jack Elliot to take the award. The former Friar tallied 5 goals and 9 assists in his rookie campaign. Julian talks about winning the award here.
“It’s a great honor. Not just for me but I think for the whole club.”

I love how he gives credit to all his teammates for the award…which really makes sense considering he had 9 assists on the season, good for 9th in the league.
