Julian Gressel Wins Rookie of the Year in the MLS

And there we have it folks!  Julian Gressel is your MLS Rookie of the Year for 2017.

Gressel beats out Minnesota’s Abu Danladi and Philadelphia’s Jack Elliot to take the award. The former Friar tallied 5 goals and 9 assists in his rookie campaign. Julian talks about winning the award here.

I love how he gives credit to all his teammates for the award…which really makes sense considering he had 9 assists on the season, good for 9th in the league.
