David Duke Cancels Villanova Visit this Weekend, to Officially Visit PC Instead

Per Corey Evans of Rivals.com, Top-50 Guard and Top Providence Friar target David Duke, is no longer going to go through with his scheduled official visit to Villanova this weekend and will instead officially visit Providence.

A couple of things to note for this huge news.

With the recent commitments of guards Noah Locke and Andrew Nembhard to Florida this week, that takes them out of the running for Duke.  With Duke cancelling his official visit to Villanova this weekend and instead taking an official to Providence, I would say that speaks volumes for PC over Nova (p.s. suck it Nova).

Another nice little wrinkle to the story here is that 2019 super stud recruit Armando Bacot will be unofficially visiting PC this weekend as well.

If Duke decides to commit to Ed Cooley and the Friars in person, much like A.J. Reeves, I think seeing that firsthand could speak volumes about the program and the culture here to Bacot.  It is a close knit group of guys and coaches that have cultivated a culture that emphasizes family and winning.

I couldn’t agree more that everyone on the PC campus should give Duke the warmest welcome possible to get that dude to stay in Providence for good.  I’m hoping for something like the Darnell Jefferson welcome train in The Program…
