The Providence College Friars Men’s Hockey Team announced their annual awards for their players for the 2018-2019 College Hockey season that finished with the Friars making the Frozen Four before falling to Minnesota Duluth.
Here’s the list of the awards for this past season:
Lou Lamoriello Award (Team’s Most Valuable Player): Josh Wilkins
Wilky closes out the awards by taking home the Lou Lamoriello Award as team MVP! He earned First Team Hockey East All-Star and Second Team All-American recognition, as well as Most Outstanding Player accolades at the NCAA East Regional with five points in two games. #GoFriars pic.twitter.com/4cmC0WcvLB

Gates Orlando Award (Most Points): Josh Wilkins; 46 points

Robert Gaudreau, Jr. Award (Most Goals): Josh Wilkins; 20 Goals

Ron Wilson Award (Best Defensive Player): Vincent Desharnais

Thomas Eccleston, Jr. Award (Unsung Hero): Tyce Thompson

Rev. Herman Schneider Award (Most Valuable Freshman): Jack Dugan
