Hartford Athletic signed Providence College Men’s Soccer player Mac Steeves earlier this month, along with a couple of other players to fill out their roster for the upcoming season.

Steeves was originally drafted 43rd overall in the MLS Superdraft in 2018 by the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and most recently had a stint with Rio Grand Valley FC Toros (USL).
At Providence, Steeves finished his career with 35 goals, good for 2nd on the all-time scoring list at Providence College. Steeves was a 2-time First Team All-Big East selection and was also named the NCAA College Cup Most Outstanding Offensive Player in 2014.
I’m going to try and catch the former Friar in action once the team starts playing some home game and hopefully they can get something going much like the Hartford Yard Goats have for minor league baseball in Hartford.
Best of luck on the upcoming season Mac!
