The Providence coaching staff has really started to turn their focus heavily on Dawes and its quickly become apparent that he is a high priority target for the Friars. Dawes has said that he wants to make his College decision before the High School basketball season starts, so we should be hearing from him relatively soon after he completes his official visits.
Dawes recently cut his list of schools down to a Final 8, including Providence, as well as the other schools he intends to visit. He took an unofficial visit to PC back on September 5th but he wants to check out the school while it’s in session and practice with the team to see how he fits in with their system and gels with the players and coaches.
