Friartown, the wait is almost over. The 2026–27 college basketball season has arrived, and there's plenty of excitement surrounding Providence basketball as the Friars prepare for another run through the Big East. With a new season comes new expectations, fresh faces, and plenty of opportunities for Providence to make some noise in one of the …

Just when you thought that the shark gifs were done for the summer, Bryan Hodgson comes off the top rope with a massive surprise commitment from yet another versatile wing in Javon Bradwell. Bradwell was a member of the 2027 class but is reclassifying to 2026 and will be joining the Friars, adding to their …

And here's that frontcourt help y'all have been asking for...Bryan Hodgson keeps on adding transfers to the roster faster than you can say, Jaws. It's getting hard to keep up with the non-stop additions to the Friars roster, but I'm the farthest thing from complaining. The latest addition to Friartown is Samson Aletan, a 6'10'' …
Just when you think you have a moment to breathe as a Friar fan, Bryan Hodgson hits you with a shark gif and you need to be on high alert at a moment's notice. Other teams are looking for their first or second transfer commitment and Hodgson and his staff are running by the shelves …

I'm not going to lie...this one stings a little bit. If I was going to rank the players on the team who I wanted to stay in Friartown who were potentially eligible to hit the transfer portal, it would have broken down as such: 1. Jamier Jones 2. Ryan Mela 3. Jaylen Harrell 4. Oswin …

The first domino to fall, following the hiring of Bryan Hodgson, is Rich Barron's announcement that he will be entering the transfer portal. Goodblum was his usual excellent reporting chimed in noting Barron's points per game this past season...you know, in a season he didn't actually play in. https://twitter.com/GoodmanHoops/status/2036957352000094496 Barron still has two years of …
