Quentin Jackson, a 2016 PG who I keep hearing is underrated as hell, has cut his final list of schools that he is considering to five. Those schools include Cincy, Charlotte, Lehigh, Rutgers, and Providence. New coach Jeff Battle has been the one recruiting Jackson and is immediately making a contribution to the recruiting at PC. Battle has a long history of developing young guards at Wake Forest (Chris Paul, Jeff Teague, Josh Howard) and Xavier. Big East Coast Bias ran a really good article on Battle to get you familiar with the Friars’ new coach.
Jackson’s game seems to be really smooth and fluid and his shooting technique looks like what you would teach to young kids at a basketball camp. I think maybe the Friars should think about adopting his motto, “School & Ball” too.
