Kim English Goes In on Coaches Tampering in College Basketball

Now that the time for players to enter their name into the Transfer Portal has officially come to an end, I can finally get into Kim English’s comments on tampering during what has become an actual off-season in college basketball.

There were rumors going around that a few schools, and one in particular (*cough* DePaul *cough*), were contacting Providence’s Bryce Hopkins and telling him to enter the Transfer Portal with promises of NIL if he were to do so and commit to transferring to their school. Even though Hopkins is coming of a serious knee injury, you can tell just how crazy it is in what has become the Wild West in college basketball, by the type of behind-the-scenes recruitment that was going on, once again, within the Big East Conference. I mean, c’mon guys…again?

And because our Athletic Director Steve Napolillo is as loyal as they come and behind our guy Kim 100%, he followed up with a tweet of his own.

I would head into battle with those two dudes, no questions asked. However, if you wanted to know who has head Kim’s back for even longer, look no further than Coach Felton.

Here’s the song he linked to if you don’t want to head over to Apple Music…

Not to mention that my guy Jabri Abdur-Rahim is already fitting into Friartown perfectly.

Ever since Kim English has been released into the Twitter-sphere following the end of the college basketball season, he has been shooting from the hip and completely on fire. That’s the difference between having a young coach who can connect with players these days and guy who just refers to himself as rich as shit.
